Why is performing beneficial?

In addition to the fact that the student recitals provide a great experience for the performers and their families, they also give definite goals to learning the piano. Practice will be much more intense if there is a fixed event from time to time to prepare for. A successful performance is an internal reward for the semester's work. The recitals held every semester are in fact snapshots of the continuous work, following them you can see the progress very well, which can provide an additional motivation.

How it works?

Our students present their skills to a smaller audience twice a year - in December and in June. The location is usually Horse Tramway Cultural and Events Center in Zugliget, where they can comfortably take part together with their family and friends. The beauty of the building and the forest environment also contribute to making every recital a great family event. We pay special attention to the quality of the provided instrument, so we do not list one below a; Steinway & Sons grand piano kept in excellent condition. At our events, you can also admire the performance of renowned members of the profession, who are glad to talk to the students. Video recordings preserve the memory of the recitals.

My studies are crowned by the student concert held every semester. It gives one a feedback and a sense of proudness that the time and energy invested was worth it when you receive the audience's appreciation at the end of the piece. For me, the student concert also has another positive effect: it helps me overcome my stage fright, which gives me confidence both in the world of work and in my private life. I never thought that I would ever perform in front of an audience. Previously, I did not dare to speak publicly at a larger family event among my loved ones, but now I am looking forward to sitting next to one of the flagships of the Steinway & Sons brand again at the next concert, because it is a great experience.
