Our school follows the examination system of the British ABRSM (The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), which is open to everyone regardless of geographical location and age. 8+1 grades can be completed, after which a diploma exam is also possible. The exams take place in a digital format, a video recording of the instrument playing must be submitted, and the theory exam is an online test. Each Grade requires a recital-like performance of 4 piano pieces from the Syllabus, which is updated every two years. In addition, it is worth dealing with several other areas. Scaling helps you navigate the different tones, and technically prepares the virtuoso runs that occur in the pieces. Sightreading helps you to have no problem in reading sheet music and to understand the music on paper as soon as possible. The listening exercises are meant so that you don't only know music theory on paper, but also that your ears are ready for immediate interpretation.
